is a vocal/guitar duo playing an eclectic mix of pop, folk and soul for
your listening enjoyment. Molly Hicks and Jason Herrmann graduated from
Temple University where they studied music. Upon entering the adult
world, the two chums decided to play the following types of songs: 1.
those they like, and 2. those that sound good! The result is an
assortment of songs originally performed by the likes of Foo Fighters,
Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan, and some relatively obscure singer/songwriters.

First Friday Main Line - Come Get Your Irish On!Mar. 03, 2008
Join us for an evening of entertainment.
Friday, March 7th - 6:00 through 10:00
music sets start at 6:30 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate First Friday Main Line with a wee bit of Irish flare. Come on out to Salon True in Ardmore and enjoy a Guinness, beer bread, ham sandwiches, and Irish potatoes. For your entertainment, we will be featuring accoustic sets from the musical band SMYTH.
SMYTH is a fun-loving band led by two sisters: Meghan, the entertaining lead-singer, who draws in fans with her awe-inspiring split kicks & jumps, and Maureen, who pounds on her acoustic guitar & complements her sister's voice, resulting in captivating harmonies. Nina Soto, with her funky, yet smooth bass sounds, & rocking drummer, Tom Mellon, produce the solid rhythms to get the crowd moving. When the position became vacant, Nina scanned the extensive talent pool at her alma mater, University of the Arts, and reeled in former classmate Justin Verechia for lead guitar. Together, SMYTH relates fascinating life stories with unequivocal sincerity and candor, such as their songs You're Still Breathing and Let's Get Out of Here, and then return to the playfulness and vivacity that they are known for, in hilarious tales of the single social scene, like fan favorites Acting Like a Guy, High Stakes, and Attract. Animated and enthusiastic, they hang out in the crowd, continuing to amuse their fans long after the show is over. They are a spirited band that spreads fun, humor, and entertainment with a touch of mischief everywhere they go.

Biography - Dave Bazzel
Photographer
Dave Bazzel is the son of an artist, an art teacher, a renaissance man
really. Although being exposed to a wide range of media at a young age,
Dave took the "specialist" road and was quite successful in photography
at any early age. As a teen, Dave excelled in photojournalism and won
three first place awards at the nationally recognized Columbia
Scholastic Press Review for his work as editor-in-chief and
photographer.
Having
laid the camera down for a time to raise a family and pursue other
career goals, Dave is now building a compelling portfolio of mainly
classic landscapes and seascapes in both color and black and white
infrared film. Many of his pieces, one could say, evoke visual and
technical inspiration. But as Dave would be quick to point out, there
is always room for improvement. As was the case earlier in his life, he
is quickly making his mark by exhibiting in some of the top fine arts
festivals in the northeast United States. He is currently also
carefully expanding his presence in various art and photography
galleries.
Dave
says, "I've told my children as they've gotten older to pursue
something that you truly love. Those things that you love you will
develop and learn with a heart motive, and as a result will be
ultimately successful. Photography for me is the singular thing I
excelled at. My eyes saw and my mind comprehended. I believe it is a
special gift from God to me, for which I am very grateful. As I age and
look back at my life's work and the level of success the public
ascribes to it, I will be at peace because, occupationally speaking, I
am home."
Dave
uses a Pentax medium-format camera, Fuji slide film and prints to
traditional Fuji photographic paper. His unique method employs digital
darkroom techniques in the middle of the process and traditional
products at each end. Every image Dave produces is taken on a tripod.
Each is treated with extreme attention to detail and care every step
along the way. All color and black and white images are available in
four sizes and are matted on acid-free archival matting.

Pink
is the colour for October 2007. This year's heavenly hot pink IV styler
has arrived. Created for Breast Cancer Awareness month, it has been
much lusted after by Urban Angels and A-listers everywhere. Last year
alone, almost $100,000 was raised in the United States for the Young
Survival Coalition (YSC) through the "Power of Pink" campaign.
This year's pink comes with a gorgeous hot pink carry
case and convenient detachable roll mat. Both are must have accessories
this autumn, their heat resistance making them utterly alluring. Two
hot pink clips help to section hair for easier styling, a perfect pink
package.
The launch is already attracting the attention of the
international fashion pack. With Naomi Campbell, Madonna, Sienna Miller
and Cameron Diaz, just a handful of the rich and famous on the waiting
list.
