Melissa is a long-time veteran of the hair industry, having worked in the field from the young age of sixteen. As a child, Melissa’s fiery, red headed, great-grandmother served as her inspiration and she admired watching her work her highlighting magic. This influence prompted Melissa to attend Paul Mitchell in Staten Island, New York in 2006. A year later, she moved to Philadelphia and continued working full-time in the salon industry. Some of her career highlights include being a premier stylist for men’s hair at the 2010 Vans Warped Tour, the November 2010 Alternative Press Tour, and A Day to Remember Tour in the spring of 2011.

In her spare time, Melissa loves to cook and bake delicious Vegan treats. She also enjoys doing DIY art crafts. She is obsessed with the HBO hit show, True Blood and likes to attend Hardcore/Indie shows. Her three favorite magazines are: Ready Made, Bon Appétit, and Nylon. When time allows for it, Melissa enjoys visiting her family and friends in her hometown of Queens, New York.
